Martin Luther also impact greatly on the Christian faith in a theological manner, he argued that salvation is based in individual faith, not good works, and so removed the need for the church to attain salvation. Linking strongly in with his other impacts and beliefs was the notion that God alone and a relationship with god directly create faith. This emphasises the individual’s relationship.
